Genetic Counsellor Position

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Genetic Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Genetic Counsellor, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive genetic counselling services to patients referred to the cardiovascular genetics service.

This role involves managing patient intakes, analyzing genetic variants, coordinating testing processes, and providing clear guidance. You will work closely with our medical team, handle referrals, contribute to research initiatives, and provide education to healthcare professionals.

  • Manage patient data, analyze genetic information, coordinate testing procedures, and offer expert advice.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, facilitate referrals, participate in research projects, and educate healthcare professionals on genetic principles.

To be successful in this position, you should have a Master's degree in Genetic Counselling (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience. You should also demonstrate computer literacy with experience in MS Office, databases, presentations, and pedigree drawing software.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Genetic Counselling or equivalent qualification.
