Job Title: Genetic Counsellor - Cardiovascular Genetics

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Genetic Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive genetic counselling services for patients referred to the cardiovascular genetics service.

This role involves delivering pre- and post-counselling for hereditary cardiac conditions, managing patient intakes, analysing genetic variants, coordinating testing processes, and delivering clear counselling guidance.

You will work closely with our medical team, handle referrals, contribute to research initiatives, and provide genetic education to healthcare professionals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Genetic Counselling (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years' relevant clinical experience with demonstrated competency in genetic counselling
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with experience in MS office, databases, presentations and pedigree drawing software
