Overview

The National Heart Centre Singapore is seeking a Genetic Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. This role involves delivering comprehensive genetic counselling services for patients referred to the cardiovascular genetics service, including both pre- and post-counselling, for hereditary cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage patient intakes, analyse genetic variants, coordinate testing processes, and deliver clear counselling guidance.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary medical team; handle referrals, contribute to research initiatives, and provide genetic education to healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Genetic Counselling (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years' relevant clinical experience with demonstrated competency in genetic counselling.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with experience in MS Office, databases, presentations and pedigree drawing software.
