We are seeking a skilled Security System Analyst to join our team at BLUOCEAN SECURITY PTE. LTD.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of security systems in our clients' 24/7 Security Operation Centers (SOC). This includes monitoring, troubleshooting, and analyzing system health status.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage security systems in client SOC centers.
  • Perform daily system health checks and proactively monitor system status.
  • Generate reports according to client requirements.
  • Support and troubleshoot software issues related to access control, CCTV, alarms, visitor management, and other contracted systems.
  • Acknowledge alarms, answer calls, and resolve issues.
  • Eliminate alarm defects, track, and manage via trouble tickets.
  • FOLLOW standard procedures to respond to external and internal threats.
  • Report alarm defects through trouble tickets to upper management.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot system and network issues.
  • Mask alarm points as approved.
  • Document steps to resolve incidents in the service ticketing system.
  • Notify management when Service Level Agreements are missed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • Relevant working experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Lenel, Milestone, or Easylobby is an asset.
  • Basic understanding of IT hardware, networking, and database management.
  • Familiarity with access control, CCTV, and Alarm system products is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work onsite on shift hours, including nights.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Client service-oriented.
  • High adaptability and fast learning ability.
  • Excellent command of English (written and oral), proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Open to young, passionate, and tenacious fresh graduates who are motivated to learn and grow in the Security industry.
