Financial Reporting Specialist

Located in Singapore, the Changi Airport Group (CAG) is a leading air hub in Asia and one of the world's most awarded airports. The CAG performs key functions of airport operations, air hub development, retail and commercial activities, infrastructure development, and airport emergency services. Furthermore, it manages Seletar Airport and takes its presence beyond Singapore through consultancy projects and investments in foreign airports.
As an integral member of the Financial Reporting team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the Company and Group financial statements. Your responsibilities include preparing financial and management reports, managing the annual statutory audit, and preparing annual reports. You will also be responsible for liaising with auditors, assessing audit observations, and implementing recommendations as well as staying up-to-date with financial reporting standards.
In this position, you will have opportunities to develop and deliver analytics reporting and dashboards to provide valuable insights on financial performance. As part of your growth and development, you may be rotated to various functions and/or CAG Group subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accounting entries, review accounting schedules, resolve ad-hoc financial reporting queries, ensure timely reporting, and analyze variances.
- Technical Accounting Expertise: Provide sound technical accounting advice and participate actively as a technical accounting expert in various projects.
- Closely Liaise with Subsidiaries: Work closely with subsidiaries' finance teams and provide guidance on accounting standard interpretation to ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of group financial and management reports.
- Financial Performance Analysis: Analyze and provide insights on the financial performance of the company and the Group.
- Audit Coordination: Coordinate effectively with internal and external auditors for annual statutory/regulatory audits.
This role requires a degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification. A minimum 6-8 years of accounting experience, including a blend of in-house and public accounting experience at Big 4 firms, is necessary. Strong analysis skills, good knowledge of consolidation reporting, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and detail-oriented work habits are essential.
Estimated Salary: SGD 120,000 - SGD 180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will enjoy a range of benefits that enhance your career development and personal well-being.
