Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Accounting Professional to join our Financial Reporting team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the Company and Group financial statements. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial and management reports, managing annual statutory audits and developing analytics reporting and dashboards to provide insights on financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accounting entries, review accounting schedules, resolve ad-hoc financial reporting queries and issues, variance analysis and ensure timely submission of reports.
- Technical Accounting Advice: Provide sound technical accounting advice and participate actively as a technical accounting expert in various projects.
- Liaison with Subsidiaries: Liaise closely with subsidiaries' finance teams and provide guidance on accounting standard interpretation to ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of group financial and management reports.
- Analysis and Insights: Analyze and provide insights on the financial performance of the company and the Group.
- Coordination with Auditors: Coordinate and effectively deal with internal and external auditors for annual statutory/regulatory audits.
- Process Improvements: Participate in automation and process improvements in the area of financial reporting as well as records-to-report transformation.
- Special Assignments: Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience: CPA or Chartered Accountant with minimum 6-8 years of accounting experience, preferably with a blend of in-house and public accounting experience at Big 4 firms.
- Skills: Good analysis skills, strong knowledge of consolidation reporting, good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with stakeholders across different divisions and subsidiaries.
- Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented, hands-on, resourceful and independent, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple priorities and work under tight timelines.
- Preferred Skills: Knowledge of SAP, Tableau, RPA, Microsoft Suite of power tools would be advantageous.
Estimated Salary Range: SGD 80,000 - SGD 120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
