Job Title: Financial Asset Management ProfessionalEstimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum.
About the RoleThis is a key position within our Capital Asset Management team, responsible for fixed asset accounting and reporting, including timely and accurate capitalisation of assets, and disposal of fixed assets. As part of asset capitalisation, you will identify qualifying or non-qualifying assets for tax purposes to maximise capital allowances. You will be in charge of month/year-end closing and reporting schedules such as capital expenditure (CAPEX) accruals and the reconciliation of sub-ledger to general ledger.
You will also be involved in annual fixed asset sighting, supporting major development projects for CAPEX matters, reviewing contracts for cost allocation for asset capitalisation, and assisting managers on multi-year depreciation projections.
Besides participating in the annual CAPEX budgeting exercise, you will be involved in automation and process-improvement projects, e.g., end-to-end process review for asset accounting alongside our finance transformation journey.
This may require the use of Microsoft Power tools and RPA.
Requirements- Degree in Accountancy, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred, but candidates with no prior experience are also welcome to apply.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, resourceful, and independent.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on knowledge in SAP and low-code / business analytics tools (e.g., RPA, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI) preferred.
This is a 3-year contract position with the opportunity for conversion to a permanent role, subject to individual performance and availability at the end of the contract.
