At Changi Airport Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Capital Asset Management Specialist to join our team. This is a 3-year contract position with the opportunity for conversion to a permanent role.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for fixed asset accounting and reporting, including timely and accurate capitalisation of assets, and disposal of fixed assets. They will also assist in identifying qualifying or non-qualifying assets for tax purposes to maximise capital allowances. Additionally, they will be involved in month/year-end closing and reporting schedules such as capital expenditure (CAPEX) accruals and the reconciliation of sub-ledger to general ledger.
This includes reviewing contracts for cost allocation for asset capitalisation and assisting managers on multi-year depreciation projections. The specialist will also participate in annual CAPEX budgeting exercises and be involved in automation and process-improvement projects, such as end-to-end process reviews for asset accounting.
Requirements- A degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience is preferred
- Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply
- Analytical, detail-oriented, resourceful, and independent
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Hands-on knowledge in SAP and low-code/business analytics tools (e.g., RPA, Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI) is preferred
$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
