As airport manager, CAG performs the key functions of airport operations, air hub development, retail and commercial activities, infrastructure development and airport emergency services.
CAG also manages Seletar Airport, and through its subsidiary, Changi Airports International, it takes Changi's presence beyond Singapore's shores through consultancy projects and investments in foreign airports.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead the growth strategy for iShopChangi's Beauty, Wellness and Fashion Categories. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Sales Plan for the respective categories to optimize Sales & Revenue Performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the eCommerce space, sharp acumen in business development, and strong relationships with trade partners in the various business categories. They must also possess fluent salesmanship and effective project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Category Management (70%):
- Directly manage a team of 6 staff and provide indirect leadership to the Marketing Team supporting the growth of your categories.
- Develop the Sales Plan for the Respective Categories to optimize Sales & Revenue Performance.
- Conduct regular competitive benchmarking and category performance analysis, to identify key sales drivers and detractors.
- Lead all prospecting of merchants and the resultant account management and partnerships.
- Accountable for the P&L for the Categories under purview, including ownership of various performance metrics.
- Strategic Planning & New Business Development (30%):
- Support the Business Head in developing the mid-term (3-5-Year) strategic growth plan.
- Lead/partake in cross-disciplinary taskforces to trial new business development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Degree Holder with at least 10 – 15 years of mixed experience in Business Development, Retail Management / Merchandising & eCommerce, preferably in Beauty.
- P&L Management Experience is a must.
- Very strong commercial and relationship management abilities.
- Very strong Management Presentation Skills, including preparation of Long-Term Business Case and Pitches.
- Good command of English is essential for both written & spoken.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, hands-on and problem-solving attitude.
