Job Title: BIM Project Manager Lead

Role Overview

This senior-level position involves leading the implementation and management of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across the organization, ensuring compliance with established policies and standards.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in BIM, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement BIM Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive BIM strategies and processes that meet company goals and industry standards.
  • Lead BIM Deliverables: Oversee the creation of high-quality BIM deliverables, including BIM Execution Plans and clash detection reports, to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate BIM for Projects: Effectively manage the use of BIM for projects, coordinating efforts across teams and stakeholders.
  • Maintain Compliance: Ensure adherence to company BIM policies and standards, upholding the highest levels of quality and professionalism.
  • Develop and Maintain Standards: Develop and maintain BIM/VDC standards and methodology, driving continuous improvement and best practices within the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering, Architectural or Structural Engineering Construction Management.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of working experience in construction, design, drafting, and/or coordination.
  • Training: Formally trained in BIM (Specialist Diploma or BCAA or equivalent Modelling Training certification).
  • Skills: Proficient in Autodesk Revit and Bentley Microstation, Rhino, Sketchup, as well as experience in software such as Fuzor, Lumion, Adobe CC.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
