Regional Expansion Leader

A strategic leader to spearhead regional expansion across Southeast Asia.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute student recruitment strategies for postgraduate and executive education programmes in the region.
  • Identify and activate new markets, education trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at education fairs, industry events, and strategic partner engagements.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with universities, corporate clients, education agents, and government agencies.
  • Negotiate articulation, dual-degree, or franchise agreements to expand market presence.
  • Ensure that programme offerings are aligned with local needs and workforce trends.
  • Establish and manage local operational structures or offices, where needed.
  • Provide performance and market analysis reports to HQ.
  • Localise and roll out marketing campaigns in collaboration with the organisation's marketing team.
  • Strengthen brand awareness through digital platforms, alumni engagement, and media outreach.
  • Lead info sessions, webinars, and preview events to drive visibility and enrolments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related discipline (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international education, student recruitment, or business development in the ASEAN region.
  • Strong network in the education ecosystem of Southeast Asia.
  • Proven track record of market expansion and cross-border operations.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to operate independently across multiple markets.
  • Willing to travel extensively across the region.
