Regional Expansion Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Expansion Lead to spearhead our regional growth across Southeast Asia.

This is a senior leadership role ideal for a motivated individual with deep experience in education, business development, and international market expansion. You will be responsible for developing and executing student recruitment strategies, forging institutional partnerships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing our brand presence across key ASEAN markets.

  • Market Expansion & Recruitment: Develop and execute student recruitment strategies across Southeast Asia for postgraduate and executive education programmes; identify and activate new markets, education trends, and growth opportunities; represent us at education fairs, industry events, and strategic partner engagements.
  • Partnerships & Institutional Collaboration: Build and maintain partnerships with universities, corporate clients, education agents, and government agencies; negotiate articulation, dual-degree, or franchise agreements to expand market presence; ensure that programme offerings are aligned with local needs and workforce trends.
  • Compliance & Operations: Ensure compliance with education and advertising regulations in each country; establish and manage local operational structures or offices, where needed; provide performance and market analysis reports to HQ in Singapore.
  • Marketing & Brand Development: Localise and roll out marketing campaigns in collaboration with our HQ marketing team; strengthen brand awareness through digital platforms, alumni engagement, and media outreach; lead info sessions, webinars, and preview events to drive visibility and enrolments.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related discipline (Master's preferred); minimum 5 years of experience in international education, student recruitment, or business development in the ASEAN region; strong network in the education ecosystem of Southeast Asia; proven track record of market expansion and cross-border operations; excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills; proactive, resourceful, and able to operate independently across multiple markets; willingness to travel extensively across the region.
