Singapore Airlines is a leading international airline that operates in a highly competitive market. As a Sales and Revenue Growth Specialist, you will be part of the Sales & Marketing Division and play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market share.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Sales and Revenue Growth Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving passenger segment, revenue, and market share goals for agency accounts. This includes owning a portfolio of agencies, such as tour/cruise operators, consolidators, travel management companies, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Achieve passenger segment, revenue, and market share goals for agency accounts by thoroughly understanding the needs of assigned agency accounts through agency contacts, internal/external data, and news sources.
  2. Build relationships with agencies and ensure they are up-to-date on latest promotions, pricing, and product via multiple channels – phone, email, face-to-face sales calls, in-house staff events.
  3. Be a key source of market intelligence on competitors' fares, promotions, and market activities.
  4. Prepare account plans and align with Sales Planning; adjust periodically as needed.
  5. Deploy the right solution (incentive agreements, ad-hoc fares, etc) to grow SIA's market share.
  6. Execute interventions to improve performance, including joint marketing campaigns with agencies.
  7. Ensure incentive contract commitments (e.g. service level agreements (SLAs), joint events, etc) are executed/achieved on time.
Growth from New Opportunities
  1. Deliver growth from new and ad hoc opportunities by proactively identifying Group sales opportunities; execute with assistance from Sales Ops (Groups) Department.
  2. Via agency sales contacts, identify leads that can be developed into managed corporate accounts and work with corporate Account Managers (AMs) to pursue those leads.
  3. Stay up-to-date on local events, disruptions, holidays, competitors' actions to capture temporary or seasonal opportunities that occur.
Requirements
  • Diploma in any discipline.
  • Prior experience in sales would be advantageous.
  • High proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong data analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and leverage relationships.
  • Able to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
  • Highly organized.
Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is SGD $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
