The role of a Quantity Surveyor involves overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and managing tender documents, including contracts and cost estimates;
  • Carrying out risk assessments and implementing value management strategies to optimize project outcomes;
  • Generating and analyzing cost proposals for tenders and contracts;
  • Providing expert advice on contractual matters and claims;
  • Compiling detailed progress reports and analyzing project outcomes;
  • Staying up-to-date with current building contracts and regulations;
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and regulations.

To excel in this position, you will require:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as construction or a related discipline;
  • At least two years of experience in building construction, preferably in a Quantity Surveyor or similar role;
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin languages to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
