Job Title: Construction Cost Estimator

A highly skilled and motivated individual is sought to join our team as a Construction Cost Estimator. This role involves providing expert advice on construction costs, quantities, and related matters.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • - Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects
  • - Conduct thorough site investigations and assessments to identify potential cost-saving opportunities
  • - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate costing and scheduling
  • - Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • - Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and market trends
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Essential:
  • - Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • - Proven experience in construction cost estimation (at least 3 years)
  • - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • - Proficient in MS Office and relevant software
  • Desirable:
  • - Postgraduate qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • - Membership of professional bodies (e.g., RICS, CIOB)
