M&E Estimator

We are seeking a skilled M&E Estimator to join our team. As an M&E Estimator, you will be responsible for providing quantity take-off, cost estimates, and contract administration support in tender exercises.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building, or Quantity Surveying, and have a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in the construction industry.

You will also be required to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prepare plans, contracts, budgets, and other documentation, and liaise with the Procurement Department to ensure timely procurement of materials.

  • Quantity Take Off: You will be responsible for accurately measuring and estimating quantities of materials required for construction projects.
  • Cost Estimates: You will provide detailed cost estimates for construction projects, taking into account factors such as material costs, labor costs, and overheads.
  • Contract Administration: You will be responsible for administering contracts, including preparing and negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
  • Liaising with Procurement: You will work closely with the Procurement Department to ensure timely procurement of materials, and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Project Management: You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling project expenses, optimizing profit, and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Able to work independently and as part of a team, negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, conduct risk analysis evaluation, and perform feasibility studies.
