The role of a Construction Cost Estimator is pivotal in the successful delivery of construction projects. Our team seeks an experienced and skilled professional to lead the cost estimation process, ensuring accurate and comprehensive analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret technical drawings and perform accurate measurements to inform cost estimates.
- Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BQ) for tender submissions and contract administration.
- Review and understand tenders, contracts, specifications, and contractual terms to ensure compliance.
- Analyze quotations, pricing structures, and rate build-ups for accurate cost estimation.
- Administer contracts, including valuation of progress payments and variation claims in accordance with contract terms.
- Manage tender processes and procurement activities for new projects.
- Support other business functions and activities as required.
- Negotiation skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Expertise in construction, civil engineering, and quantity surveying.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for accurate cost estimation.
- Proficient in administrative work, including data management and record-keeping.
