Job Title: Culinary Operations Director
Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Operations Director to lead our daily culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-performing teams, ensuring exceptional food quality, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Quality and Consistency: Develop and implement strategies to maintain the highest standards of food quality and consistency across all outlets.
- Purchasing and Inventory Management: Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for ingredients and supplies, while ensuring timely delivery and efficient inventory management.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with chefs and other stakeholders to create innovative and authentic Italian-inspired menus that reflect the ethos of our culinary concept.
- Team Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of kitchen staff, promoting professional growth and development.
- Scheduling and Cost Control: Manage labor costs and optimize scheduling to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
- Sanitation and Food Safety: Ensure strict adherence to local regulations and industry standards for sanitation and food safety, maintaining the highest standards in these areas.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in senior culinary leadership roles
- Proven track record of driving business growth through effective team management and menu development
- Strong negotiation and purchasing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field
