Job Summary
The Training Manager - Facilities will be responsible for identifying and addressing training needs within the organization, designing and implementing training programs, policies, and procedures to meet those needs. This role will establish a robust training framework, ensuring the department delivers exceptional guest experiences to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic training programs to enhance engagement, learning, and retention.
- Ensure training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
- Maintain knowledge of new training methods and techniques, applying best practices to achieve world-class standards.
- Identify opportunities for training improvement and conduct or facilitate required training sessions.
- Collaborate with the leadership team and team leads to drive strategic training programs.
- Work with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for outside training programs.
- Establish meaningful metrics and dashboards for effective measurement and management of training goals.
- Ensure training milestones and goals are met within allocated training budgets.
- Prepare and implement training budgets.
- Act as a mentor and coach to business stakeholders to achieve operational excellence.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Communications, Business, Engineering, Building Services, or Facilities Management.
- 5-10+ years of related industry experience.
- Acquired Certified Professional Trainer or equivalent certification is advantageous.
Experience
- Experience in formulating and implementing training programs with a thorough understanding of training processes.
- Experience in curating training courses in an e-learning environment.
- At least 5-7 years of working experience in the training industry.
- Experience in applying and utilizing technologies to drive process and efficiency.
- Strong business acumen and proven track record in setting up training programs.
- Good understanding and appreciation of organizational change dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to communicate and work at all levels of the organization.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite applications is a pre-requisite.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with key decision-makers at all levels.
