Project Manager Role for ACMV Systems

 

  • As a Project Manager, you will oversee the overall project progress, manpower, and monitor the project schedule to ensure timely completion.
  • Develop detailed engineering designs as required to meet project specifications.
  • Conduct testing, commissioning, and basic troubleshooting of the ACMV systems.
  • Coordinate with main contractors and sub-contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and plan site inspections with clients or RTOs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Allocate resources efficiently and submit daily work progress and manpower forecast reports to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and request equipment and material delivery to prevent delays in project completion.
  • Ensure that all equipment, materials, and site work comply with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Prepare and obtain approval for Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Site Waste Management Plans, shop drawings, materials, equipment, and other project-related documents.
  • Attend technical meetings, daily site progress meetings, and safety meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Develop OMM manuals, As-Built drawings, training programs, and DLP documents to support project knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Familiarity with ACMV/HVAC air-conditioning systems is essential for this role.
  • Adhere to Work Safety and Health (WSH) and Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • ITE/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience in project management handling ACMV projects for industrial or commercial purposes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role.
  • A team player with problem-solving, coordination, and management skills is required.
