Instructional Designer Position

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team.

  • Design and develop eLearning content incorporating various media types such as video, animation, and instructional technologies.
  • Develop conceptualize and edit storyboards to translate into finished interactive content.
  • Develop instructional materials, manuals, aide memoire, and learning resources.
  • Design courseware by incorporating technology and relevant learning pedagogies for effective learning.
  • Develop assessment criteria, tests, assignments, and examinations.
  • Work with the Project Manager to define project scope, including level of interactivity, objective, timeline, and other requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Content Developer team to design engaging interactive courseware for adult learning.
  • Perform courseware testing and evaluate courseware based on approved storyboards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably in Instructional Design, Education, Psychology, or related qualifications.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in instructional design and/or training.
  • The following skills are essential:
    • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
    • Proven ability to develop clear, concise, and engaging storyboards using various techniques.
    • Excellent visual design sense and ability to translate complex information into visuals.
    • Good knowledge of authoring tools, usability, functionality testing methods, course, and learner evaluation methodology.
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proactive and able to work as a team.
