Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced leader to drive sales growth, develop effective strategies, and elevate our brand across the APAC region. As Regional Director Asia - Sales Growth Leader, you will be responsible for promoting our international project, expanding and consolidating our presence in the assigned territory, and leading a team of local sales leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth: Actively promote our international project and develop, implement, and support sales & marketing activities to expand and consolidate our presence in the assigned territory.
  • Lead the Sales Team: Lead the local team leaders who oversee Sales & Account Managers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to achieve their targets.
  • Plan and Monitor Performance: Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the team to ensure reaching of targets and KPIs.
  • Liaise with HQ: Liaise with HQ, Finance, and Marketing departments to ensure operations budgets and proper advertisements meet team goals and attract partners.
  • Uphold Organization Policies: Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed.
  • Contribute to Customer Acquisition: Contribute to signing up new customers and maintaining and developing our relationship with key partners in the assigned territory.
  • Market Analysis: Provide market & competitive environment analysis to assist the company reach the North America territory and be part of our growth.
  • Reporting: Provide comprehensive reporting on team performance and market analysis.

Requirements

Key Qualifications

  • Leadership Experience: A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, including the management of team leaders and Senior Sales professionals, with a specific emphasis on go-to-market strategies and the ability to build initiatives from the ground up.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the country's market and extensive networking in the B2B travel industry, including travel agencies, tour operators, host agencies, OTAs, consortiums, etc.
  • API Integration and Technology Sales: Competence in API integration and technology sales & deals, as well as an understanding of our competitors and main online booking systems.
  • Leadership Skills: Successful team management experience, covering the full range from hiring and training to retaining and developing top-tier talent. Demonstrated abilities to drive and achieve exceptional performance.
  • Personal Skills: Ambitious, proactive, results-oriented, and comfortable with fast-paced business environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Use data to back decisions, innovative, adept at cutting-edge technology, and experience using KPIs to track success.
  • International Mindset: Capable of understanding and working across culturally diverse environments, reflecting ETG's global presence.
  • Autonomy and Problem-Solving: Capable of working autonomously with a high level of accountability and enjoy developing and implementing solutions to unique challenges.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (knowledge of additional languages is an advantage).
  • Business Travel: Ready to travel as up to 50% of working hours may involve visiting customers, attending events, or meeting the team. Having your own car is crucial.
