Job Title: Family Support Specialist

This role focuses on managing caseloads and developing intervention plans to support clients. Key responsibilities include supporting the agency's casework system, providing information and referral services, and leading group work programs.

Casework & Counselling
  • Maintain a reasonable caseload.
  • Assess client needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
  • Support the agency's casework system, including administration, intake, referral, evaluation, and closure of cases.
Group Work and Community Programs
  • Plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate group work programs.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop community programs that address family needs.
  • Liaise with organizations and partners to enhance work with families and the elderly in the community.
Information & Referral (I&R)
  • Provide information and referral services to individuals seeking assistance.
  • Support the agency's I&R standard operating system for administration, intake, referral, outcome follow-up, and closure.
  • Network and outreach to residents and partners to identify and explore community needs.
Other Responsibilities

Undertake any other duties assigned by the Centre Director.
