Family Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service delivery team, you will be responsible for providing casework and counselling services to families in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Casework and Counselling: Conduct individual, couple, and family counselling sessions to address stress related to family issues.
- Support Programme and Workshops: Plan, review, and facilitate groupwork intervention for parents and children, as well as facilitate premarital and divorce-related programmes and workshops.
- Supervisory and Appraisal: Provide supervision to Assistant Senior Counsellor/Social Worker and/or intern, lead case management, and conduct quarterly performance appraisal.
Requirements:
- Master Degree in Counselling or Bachelor Degree in Social Work with a recognised certification in Counselling.
- At least 6-8 years of relevant casework/counselling experience, preferably in education, counselling, social work, or related fields involving family, parents, and children.
- Proven leadership track record and accreditation with SASW and/or clinical membership with SAC.
