Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and have a positive dining experience.

  • The supervisor will take and schedule reservations, greeting and coordinating the seating of guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • They will recognize regular guests and highlight their preferences to the General Manager, ensuring that these guests are treated with a high level of personalized service.
  • The supervisor will ensure that guests' requests are not delayed during restaurant operations, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • They will record and report all guests' complaints to the General Manager immediately, allowing prompt resolution and maintaining a positive reputation.
  • The supervisor will promote the restaurant by establishing a loyal and regular customer base, maintaining a database of regular customers and personalizing customer service to meet their needs.
  • They will maintain the highest standard of cleanliness, ensuring that the restaurant and connected areas are clean and well-maintained at all times.
  • The supervisor will assist the General Manager in implementing and developing training programs, ensuring that staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service.
  • They will participate in monthly physical stock takes, including plates and utensils, to ensure that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
  • The supervisor will perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by management.
