This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled editor to commission, edit, and refine stories from reporters around the world. You will have significant experience handling breaking news and data-informed enterprise pieces that help our audience understand the complex dynamics of digital assets and financial technology.

  • Edit short- and long-form copy, making sure it's clear, concise, and appealing to a broad financial audience.
  • Work closely with reporters to develop and refine stories, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Cut through jargon and technical complexities, making complex concepts accessible to our readers.
  • Be responsible for communicating editorial priorities with stakeholders worldwide.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of recent business journalism experience as an editor.
  • At least 5 years of recent experience editing stories on cryptocurrencies.
  • Experience working in a real-time news environment.
  • Strong news judgment and top-notch writing skills.
  • Proficiency in creating and editing charts, evaluating and working with data.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom publishing high-visibility stories across multiple platforms.
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization.
  • Bachelor's degree or degree-equivalent qualifications.
