Editorial Lead - Crypto & Digital Payments

We seek an experienced editorial lead to shape our coverage of the rapidly evolving crypto and digital payments landscape in the APAC region. This role will involve coordinating and refining stories with our global team of reporters, editors, and data specialists to deliver high-quality content to a broad financial audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit compelling short- and long-form copy, including bullet points and enterprise pieces.
  • Collaborate closely with reporters across Bloomberg's newsroom to develop and refine stories, leveraging their expertise and knowledge of the beat.
  • Craft clear, concise prose that effectively communicates complex information to a broad financial audience.
  • Negotiate editorial priorities with stakeholders worldwide, ensuring timely and accurate publication of key stories.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a business journalist or editor, with a strong track record of editing stories on cryptocurrencies and digital payments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced real-time news environment, making sound judgments under pressure.
  • Strong proficiency in creating and editing charts, working with data, and communicating complex ideas clearly.
  • Excellent news judgment, with a keen eye for detail and a talent for crafting compelling narratives.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, with a strong understanding of AP style guidelines.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications, with a proven ability to grow and develop within an organization.
