Crypto and Digital Payments Editor

We are seeking an experienced journalist for a key role on our global crypto and digital payments team. The successful candidate will have a strong track-record of handling complex financial news, commissioning, editing and shepherding work from reporters both on and off the team.

  • Edit short- and long-form copy: everything from short, bullet-point sentences to complex, ambitious enterprise stories.
  • Work closely with reporters across our global newsroom to develop and refine stories.
  • Cut through jargon of all kinds, making stories appealing and understandable to a broad financial audience.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of recent business journalism experience as an editor.
  • At least 5 years of recent experience editing stories on cryptocurrencies.
  • Experience working in a real-time news environment.
  • Strong news judgement.
  • Top-notch writing skills and the ability to craft concise, clean prose under intense deadline pressure.
