Our global crypto and digital payments team is seeking a seasoned journalist to join us as lead editor. As a key member of our newsroom, you will be responsible for commissioning, editing, and guiding work from reporters on and off the team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling complex financial news across various beats and time zones. This role involves cutting through jargon, making complex concepts appealing and understandable to a broad financial audience.

Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • At least 5 years of recent business journalism experience as an editor
  • At least 5 years of recent experience editing stories on cryptocurrencies
  • Experience working in a fast-paced real-time news environment
  • Strong news judgment and writing skills
  • Proficiency in creating and editing charts, evaluating data, and communicating complex ideas clearly
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Ability to thrive in a large, dynamic newsroom with high visibility and tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated career growth within an organization
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications
