Regulatory Compliance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory compliance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products and services operate within the bounds of regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our product team to design innovative structures and proper risk mitigation measures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain product regulatory frameworks and programs specific to our offerings.
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory matters to cross-functional teams, including product, commercial, and compliance teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory requirements and industry trends to identify potential risks and develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in law and qualified in Australia.
  • A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years in Product and Regulatory roles within the Fintech or Financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial service and payment regulations and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
