Compliance Risk Advisor

Our team is seeking a Compliance Risk Advisor to provide strategic advice and support on compliance matters.

  • We are looking for an individual with strong expertise in regulatory requirements and risk management processes, particularly in technology compliance, cybersecurity, outsourcing and record keeping.
  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis, and experience working with workflow automation and technology-based solutions.
About the Role

This is a challenging role that requires you to work closely with staff at all levels, providing advice and engaging with businesses and support groups to review regulatory change gap-analyses and risk assessments, assist in regulatory audits/reviews, review of policies and standards, and contribute to various projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks and policies.

As a trusted advisor, you will have a varied portfolio of work and will be responsible for gaining and maintaining knowledge of industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in compliance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert advice on compliance and risk management matters, including regulatory requirements, risk assessments, and policy reviews.
  2. Develop and implement compliance programs to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
  3. Work closely with staff at all levels to provide guidance and support on compliance-related issues.
  4. Contribute to project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes and improve business performance.
Requirements
  • Experience in regulatory requirements and risk management processes relating to technology compliance, cybersecurity, outsourcing and record keeping.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis.
  • A great team player who can collaborate effectively with others as well as work independently.
