We are currently looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team.

As a key member of the kitchen operations, the ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef with daily tasks, leading the kitchen team during service, and ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who possesses strong kitchen fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask during peak hours or in the absence of the Head Chef. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a café, brunch, or modern casual dining setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef with daily prep, cooking, and quality control
  • Lead the kitchen team during service when needed
  • Maintain consistency in portioning, plating, and recipes
  • Support inventory management, stock rotation, and storage
  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a café, brunch, or modern casual dining setting
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and plating
  • Ability to lead a small team and maintain composure during peak hours
  • Food Safety Certification required
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
