About the Role:

The Executive Chef Assistant is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within their assigned section of the kitchen. This involves working closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations, consistency in food quality, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food items in accordance with hotel recipes and presentation standards.
  • Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations for the assigned section.
  • Ensure mise-en-place is completed and stations are ready for service.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  • Ensure food is stored, prepared, and served in compliance with HACCP and food safety guidelines.
  • Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Monitor food quality and report any discrepancies or issues to the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Contribute to menu development and suggest ideas for new dishes or improvements.
  • Train and mentor Commis Chefs and kitchen trainees.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure seamless service during peak periods.
