Shipping Officer

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and verify Letter of Credit (LC) documents
- Update customer information in our database
- Collaborate with international agents, vendors, and warehouse teams
- Coordinate timely collections and dispatch according to customer requirements
- Track shipments and notify customers of any issues
- Ensure accurate and timely billing
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Arrange shipping insurance and documents
- Communicate with customers to understand their shipping needs
- Resolve customer issues and feedback
- Work with dispatch teams to arrange shipping
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the section manager
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level or Diploma
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Candidates with relevant shipping experience preferred
- Ability to start work immediately or within short notice
- Knowledge of LC application and negotiation
- Independent with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and learn quickly
- Customer service oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
