Key Position Summary

Description

The key position of Regional Energy Development Director is responsible for driving the development and implementation of overall marketing strategies for the Africa region. This includes focusing on achieving company energy business growth targets. The role requires a deep understanding of relevant laws, policies in the local market, power grid policies, market trends, and competitive situations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional energy storage product sales strategies to ensure compliance with local laws and standards.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with all types of energy customers, expanding market channels and promoting the company brand in the region.
  • Collect project information, screen key projects, reserve, and follow up, identifying project feasibility.
  • Understand customer needs, master key project information, and cooperate with solutions, products, delivery, and other output project solutions to reach cooperation agreements with customers.
  • Coordinate resources to deliver projects on time, quality, and quantity, ensuring timely payment collection.
  • Lead and manage the regional marketing team, motivating members to achieve personal and team goals.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets to ensure proper allocation and effective use of resources.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor degree or above, with no specific major requirements.
  • More than 5 years of experience in the energy storage industry, including supporting the whole process of landing energy storage projects.
  • Familiarity with new energy or energy storage industry customer resources, large storage project experience, and knowledge of energy storage technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and self-driven individual with strong pressure resistance and toughness.
