This is a full-time role for a Maintenance Technician (Utilities & Facilities) located in Senoko Drive. Our client is creating a new and sustainable way of supplying fresh fruit and vegetables to Singapore.
The role involves supporting the Quality Assurance Manager by managing and maintaining facilities in a cold chain supply environment. This includes handling maintenance and repair of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) systems, building infrastructure, electrical wiring, lighting, fire safety systems, and other essential components within Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practice (GHP) standards.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections for facilities and fire safety.
- Coordinate with departments to address maintenance priorities.
- Supervise contractors on-site to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
- Assist with machine and PLC troubleshooting.
- Record-keeping and report preparation are also key aspects of the role.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NITEC/ITC/Diploma in electrical, mechatronics, civil industrial or related professional certificate on related skills.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the food and beverage or manufacturing industry.
- Preferred hands-on working experience in utilities and facilities maintenance.
