We are seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Hostel Management Trainee. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry and develop their skills in customer service, financial management, marketing, and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform check-in and check-out tasks including cashier duties
- Manage reservations and liaise with OTA account managers
- Register guests collecting necessary information
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hostel and available amenities
- Respond to client complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean and tidy
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
- Assist in the administrative and marketing aspects of the company
- Previous work experience as a Hostel Front Desk Officer or similar role
- Experience with hotel reservation software
- Understanding of online travel agency websites
- Customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Education in hotel management is an advantage
- Entry level may also apply
- Required to work shift work and weekends
