Our Organisation is looking for a skilled Proposal Development Specialist to play a key role in composing competitive quotations and acting as primary sales contact to our customers.

The selected candidate will be responsible for fulfilling a versatile and challenging role, working on projects that are unique and require rapid gain of experience in metering control systems, analyser systems and metering solutions in general. The role demands technical accuracy, clear communication, commercial skills and a wide overall interest in technical solutions.

To succeed in this position, you should possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to translate requirements from specifications to cooperate with engineering disciplines and instruction suppliers, identifying optimised solutions from a technical and economical point of view.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Composing competitive quotations based on client specifications, international standards and common practices;
  • Acting as primary sales contact to our customers;
  • Working on unique projects requiring rapid gain of experience in metering control systems, analyser systems and metering solutions;
  • Possessing technical accuracy, clear communication, commercial skills and a wide overall interest in technical solutions;
  • Translating requirements from specifications to cooperate with engineering disciplines and instruction suppliers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of computer-aided design and drafting software to draft 2D drawings such as P&ID's, System block diagrams, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret customer specifications, mechanical drawings, electrical & instrumentation drawings and control narratives;
  • Good commercial and communicational skills, both written and verbal, in English;
  • Capable of translating requirements from specifications to cooperate with engineering disciplines and instruction suppliers, identifying optimised solutions from a technical and economical point of view;
  • A degree in Master/Bachelor of Industrial Sciences or equivalent through experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience with relevant project experience, ideally in automation, electrical and instrumentation and/or analysers in gas & oil metering projects.
