IT Sourcing Strategist

This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive procurement strategy to optimize the company's sourcing and purchasing activities.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in IT procurement, with a strong understanding of negotiation and influencing skills.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines, with attention to detail and focus on quality of works.
- Possess strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate team members to perform at their best.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to improve supplier relationships and reduce costs.
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including request for proposal, request for quotation, and vendor management.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing and terms.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with procurement policy and relevant guidelines/regulations.
- Address queries and resolve issues on procurement matters for assigned areas.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Business Administration/IT/Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in IT.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with an ability to work with people at all levels.
- Experience with SAP is an added advantage.
