Job Summary

">Procurement Manager Role:

Sourcing, negotiating and managing service providers for outsourced services is a key responsibility of this role. This includes developing and executing complex sourcing and procurement strategies to meet the needs of multiple clients or departments.


The Procurement function plays a vital role in sourcing and purchasing goods, services or raw materials from vendors and suppliers. As a Procurement Manager, you will lead monetization and savings programs to support business margin improvement. You will also be responsible for leading and supporting major bids to enhance the Procurement value proposition.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and create supplier events to partner with clients and promote Partnership Excellence programs.
  • Work with stakeholders, operational teams and executive sponsors to develop, coordinate and execute strategies at local, regional and global levels.
  • Draft, review, negotiate and maintain high-spend contracts and other business documents in support of large quantities of goods and services purchases.
  • Oversee the process of high-spend contract terminations, expirations, extensions and renewals.
  • Inform peers and corporate management staff of changes or results.
  • Support and lead implementation of internal procurement tools/systems to ensure alignment with global standards.
  • Manage issues and expectations across a broad range of skill sets, locations and cultures.
  • Act as a key point of contact for utilization management and coordination with outside procurement solutions.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions and other financial-related calculations.
