Data Centre Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Data Centre Operations Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our data centre facilities.

  • Monitoring and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Managing inventory and coordinating returns, repairs, and replacements as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with data and security protocols at all times.

You will work closely with vendors to resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure monitoring, or data centre operations.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of computer hardware and IT components.
  • Prior experience working in a production or mission-critical environment is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Certifications and Skills:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Server+, Network+, ASICS/Inventory Control, BSC, DCFC, or MCP.
  • Experience with vendor-specific networking certifications.
  • Familiarity with testing mobile applications (iOS and Android) is a plus.
