Job Title: Data Centre Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Design Engineer to lead the design and development of data centre projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing each phase of the project from design to completion, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effectiveness.

  • Attend client meetings as technical lead in project management.
  • Conduct internal training on design methodology, cost modelling, etc. to employees.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Support new business ventures overseas.
  • Propose design concepts.
  • Analyse existing facilities.
  • Conceptual sizing/design.
  • Risk analysis by checking consistency between tender and quotation specifications.
  • Prepare supplemental materials (Spec, DWG) for quotations.
  • Review Bills of Quantity (Material and quantity).
  • Propose Value Engineering and technical reviews.
  • Prepare presentation materials for tender interviews.
  • Provide audit and consultancy services.
  • Vigilant system support.
  • Site surveys.
  • Draft proposal documents.
  • Provide technical support.

The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD and Revit, with skills in construction, electrical design, quality improvement, value engineering, presales, shop drawing, electrical, project management, test script, electrical engineering, audit, and technical support.

Regular travel to project sites is required. Other duties may be assigned by senior managers.
