Data Centre Technical Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and planning Data Centre Halls, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities:- Design and Planning: Design and plan Data Centre Halls with a focus on space optimization, power, cooling, and cabling infrastructure.
- Analysis and Interpretation: Interpret and analyze data centre layout drawings, rack placement plans, and power/cooling schematics to ensure proper implementation.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with facility engineers, network architects, and operations teams to develop scalable and efficient data centre designs. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment installation, rack layouts, and structured cabling setup.
- Documentation and Maintenance: Maintain accurate documentation of data centre hall designs, layouts, and modifications. Identify potential risks and inefficiencies in the data centre design and propose solutions for improvement.
- Education Background: Education background in computer science, information technology, and/or engineering field.
- Relevant Experience: Possess relevant experience in data centre design and supporting / working in data centre projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency / knowledge of data centre power systems, cooling mechanisms, and cabling. Familiarity with data center management tools and software.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with partner teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
