Key Responsibilities
  1. Legal Document Management: Prepare, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including correspondences with external parties, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and policies.
  2. Compliance and Risk Management: Assist in guiding various departments and business units to implement and/or draft SOPs and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Litigation and Legal Support: Handle litigation/legal cases by liaising with internal stakeholders and external lawyers engaged by the company.
  4. Legal Advice and Support: Provide legal advice and support to various departments and business units on matters related to contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  5. Research and Analysis: Conduct legal research to ensure the company's compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  6. Policy Development: Draft advice to management on the implications of new laws and regulations and recommend necessary actions.
  7. Compliance Evaluation: Assist in evaluating compliance to rules, regulations, SOPs, and policies.
  8. Database Management: Maintain and update a database of existing and new agreements, SOPs, and policies.
  9. Reporting and Analysis: Assist in all analysis and reporting required by the company and/or the parent company.
  10. Internal Control and Risk Management: Assist with the improvement of the company's internal control compliance management and legal risk control system design, establishment, and maintenance work.
  11. General Administration: Perform general administration, reporting, and filing tasks.
  12. Confidentiality and Integrity: Adhere to all company rules and regulations, including safety rules, and maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: Preferably a Law graduate with 2 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal advisor (preferably in MNCs/logistics/commercial industry).
  2. Legal Research and Document Drafting: Proficient in legal research and legal document drafting and reviewing.
  3. Confidentiality and Integrity: Meticulous with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  4. Proactivity and Continuous Improvement: Proactive and always strives for continuous improvement.
  5. Independence and Responsibility: Ability to work independently, with integrity, and responsibility.
  6. Multi-tasking and Organization: Multi-task and excellent organization skills, ability to meet deadlines.
  7. Communication Skills: Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
