About the Role

We are seeking an Outpatient Referral Coordinator Specialist to join our team.

  • This role involves coordinating outpatient referrals for our specialists from various departments, ensuring seamless communication and efficient appointment scheduling.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of common medical conditions referred from GP clinics to specialist hospitals.
  • Detailed knowledge of diagnostic appointments, including surgeries, CT and MRI scans, is also essential for this position.

Responsibilities

  1. Schedule and confirm referral appointments for our specialists, ensuring timely communication with clients.
  2. Review referral forms and medical histories received from referring clinics, identifying pertinent information to communicate internally.
  3. Manage patient histories, ensuring accurate documentation and attachment to the system.
  4. Develop and review referral protocols for each department, maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

  • A minimum of GCE 'O' levels qualification is required.
  • Prior experience working in a clinic or hospital environment is necessary.
  • Excellent teamwork and independent work skills are essential for this role.
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is critical.
