Senior Risk Consultant\

This role is part of our specialized risk management team, focusing on evaluating and mitigating risks associated with pulp and paper mill operations.

  • \
  • Conduct thorough risk evaluations of pulp and paper mills, with a focus on the BLRB, including high-risk exposures such as smelt/water explosions and equipment breakdowns.\
  • Develop and implement tailored insurance strategies considering the complexities of the BLRB and related equipment.\
  • Perform regular on-site inspections to assess equipment conditions, maintenance practices, and compliance with industry standards.\
  • Evaluate business interruption risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential losses related to the BLRB.\
  • Collaborate with plant personnel and insurers to gather insights, review insured values, and optimize risk mitigation strategies.\\

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field.\
  • Relevant years of experience in risk management or insurance within the pulp and paper industry.\
  • Strong understanding of engineering risks and insurance principles, with a focus on the BLRB.\
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\
  • Effective communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.\\
