Senior Construction Project Manager Job Description

At our organization, we are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and construction management with experience in greenfield and/or brownfield projects, including data centers, solar, and infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with relevant parties to manage progress of the project to ensure that the schedule is kept.
  • Lead team to manage project operations, schedule, and specifications.
  • Manage operational cost to keep cost within the budget.
  • Manage site document filing and record keeping in accordance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards.
  • Manage subcontractors' activities to ensure compliance of contract requirements.
  • Monitor compliance of work with the workplace safety and health regulations.
  • Monitor quality of project delivery to make sure they meet project requirements and regulations.
  • Oversee the project team and subcontractors in delivery of project to meet completion date.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant project management or construction management experience with proven track record in greenfield and/or brownfield projects.
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or Architecture.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to supervise cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, resource management, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English with attention to detail.
  • Sound financial knowledge to oversee project cost control and management.
  • Familiarity with Energy & Sustainability certifications (LEED, Green Mark).
  • Strong knowledge in reading and interpreting construction drawings across disciplines (Architectural, Structural, M&E).
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure environments and deliver results within tight deadlines.

Additional Work Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work on Sundays, public holidays, and during non-standard hours.
  • Willingness to perform night shifts and rotational shifts when project timelines or operational needs require.
  • Availability for overtime, including evenings and weekends, to meet project deadlines and emergencies.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic work schedules and project demands with professionalism and commitment.
