Strategic Sourcing Associate Role

As a Strategic Sourcing Associate, you will play a key role in driving procurement initiatives that deliver best value to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop strategic plans to meet those needs.
  • Lead the procurement process for assigned categories of spend across the entire lifecycle from sourcing, evaluation, and contracting.
  • Develop and sustain collaborative relationships with suppliers and resolve procurement-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all elements of the Market Data Inventory System, including contracts, pricing, user profiles, vendor uploads, and tracking spare licenses for reallocation or cancellation.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with terms and conditions of market data vendors/agreements.
  • Contribute to design, preparation, and analysis of reports and findings in a clear, logical, and concise manner.

Requirements:
- Good degree with 3-6 years of relevant work experience relating to procurement practices, market data services, and vendor management.
- Tech savvy with ability to learn new skills and apply them daily.
- Resourceful and knowledgeable in procurement practices, market data services, and vendor management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at varying levels.
- Strong team-player with independence to drive business outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and communication, and negotiation skills.
