**Responsibilities**:

- **
- Provides expertise across all levels of assignments by understanding business division and overall industry; aligns internal objectives with external realities to maximize efficiencies of technologies, processes, and solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for BLC commodity to support company requirements
- Technology management and NPI alignment through early design engagement in product development
- Product cost management and cost saving initiatives ensuring maximized quarterly cost productivity
- Drive optimal sourcing decisions via cross functional engagements with Engineering and driving RFX processes
- Contract formulation, negotiation and maintenance
- Manage supply risk and cost while ensuring product availability with key suppliers such as: TI, ON Semi, STMicroelectronics, Xilinx, Altera, NXP, Microchip, etc.
- Technical resourcing knowledge of MSQ (Material Sourcing Qualification) BLC components.

**_Education and Experience Required:

- **
- BS/BA in technical or business related field, MBA with years of direct experience is added advantage
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast pace and dynamic environment with mínimal direction
- Experience and proven track record in commodity/supply base management or business operations
- Technical and business related problem solving skills and ability to interface and influence

Knowledge and Skills:

- **
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience in BLC sourcing highly preferred, along with strong knowledge of suppliers and supply chain for BLC commodities.
- Strong leadership skills with flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic cross-functional environment
- Extensive collaboration and communication with Suppliers, Engineering, Operations and Product Management is essential
- Thorough understanding of Mechanical commodity, manufacturing, materials, processes, market dynamics and overall industry
- Strong data analytical skills, with in depth knowledge of Microsoft office
