Senior Sourcing Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sourcing Professional to join our team.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in group sourcing and procurement, with a proven track record of driving key initiatives and achieving strategic objectives. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing strategic support to the Head of Group Sourcing in driving key initiatives, expanding sourcing capability, increasing participation and spend, delivering cost savings, and creating synergistic value across member operators.
This is a critical role that requires strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will be able to translate strategies into actionable sourcing plans and drive organizational alignment and adoption.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of procurement experience, with at least 3–5 years in group or centralized procurement within a telecom operator group or alliance.
- Demonstrated leadership in running multi-operator tenders, category strategies, and vendor negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of group sourcing and procurement in a telco or telecom group environment.
- Expertise in procurement methodologies, including reverse auctions, forward bidding, and e-sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba).
- Certified Procurement Professional (C.P.P.) or equivalent certification preferred.
